Nate Stack’s work explores the obvious, the hidden and his quest to find new light. These five color-block paintings completed in late 2009 detail the intricate relationship between color and light. At first glance these paintings appear dark and somewhat gloomy but upon closer inspection they reveal the curves and crevices that capture thedance of light and color. Each color represents, yet hides the true meaning from our view.
